Folklore Spaces is a story-driven interior design studio founded by Fabiola Sweis, and now a wholly owned subsidiary of Attic Salt. After nearly two decades in global architecture firms, it was born not as a business venture, but as a rekindling. What began as a personal exploration to reignite Fabiola's love of the craft turned to a full on inferno. Clients loved Folklore’s soulful approach to spatial storytelling so much the word spread like wildfire.
With this rapid organic growth made it obvious that Folklore lacked the brand language to hold the weight of its own meaning. It's early identity hinted at depth, but couldn’t carry the narrative richness blazing beneath the surface.
We aimed to build an identity system to translate a sacred process into a visual and verbal language rooted in culture, story, and ritual. A system where every touchpoint could act as an offering—a gesture of gratitude, of remembrance, of creation.
