The Role

AtticSalt is seeking a Sr Graphic Designer or Art Director with a deep focus on brand identity. If you’re a designer with a deep devotion to the craft and the technical skills to apply it, we should meet!

Hint: This is not an entry-level or junior position (unless of course, you’re a design prodigy 🦄)

We’re known for doing things differently like working remotely waaaay before it became the norm. That said, this isn’t your typically 9-5. We know that creatives like to work on their own terms. So whether you’re looking for contract, part-time, full-time or something wild in between – let’s 🌮 bout it!

What You’ll Do

  • Turn brand goals and platforms into a strategic visual language that effectively tells a brand’s story and results in increased awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and elevate client brands throughout all projects and touch-points, including digital and print mediums.
  • Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion.
  • Document our process to ensure brand consistency and a strong sense of story for case studies.
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of the AtticSalt brands.
  • Manage several projects, timelines, and clients at once using Asana, Slack, Google Drive, and Dropbox.

What we’d like to see

  • You understand grid systems like a native language and have a versatile portfolio to demonstrate this knowledge.
  • 10,000+ hours of experience in logo design and identity systems –layout, typography, color, iconography, photography style etc
  • An obsession over the details – every grid, pixel, and line matters.
  • Experience with motion graphics and editing.
  • Experience with web and interface design.
  • Highly skilled in AI, PS, INDD, and a good understanding of XD
  • 2+ years of experience working with an agency (employee/freelancer)
