The Role

AtticSalt is seeking a Content Strategist who has a passion for story telling and a keen understanding of the specific demands of digital media. (In short: love words. Appreciate brevity.) In addition to creating content, media and marketing for a wide variety of users and user needs, Content Strategists are responsible for brainstorming creative concepts with the project team, developing original campaigns and representing the writer’s perspective in client presentations. They express their ideas clearly, not just on the page (or screen), but face-to-face. Content Strategists also help to foster the talents of our awesome copywriters at every level, both leading by example and sharing their experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our business strategy, research, brand planning, analytics, and media teams to create communication plans, performance reports, and frameworks.
  • Work closely to inspire the creative teams; translating data, research and strategy into original advertising, and design that impacts our clients business in a meaningful way.
  • Analyze campaign results to highlight key findings and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop close working relationships with media partners and agencies.
  • Willing to roll-up-sleeves and own a project from end to end.

What we’d like to see

  • Studied psychology, communications or other relevant subjects.
  • Previous working experience at a creative agency in a strategic capacity.
  • Background includes digital media planning:  display, video, social, mobile.
  • Experience with both brand and direct marketing initiatives.
  • Exposure to traditional media planning: print, broadcast TV, cable, and OOH.
